On July 21, 2013, thousands of ice cream fans voted for Ice Cream Jubilee as the People's Choice for Best Ice Cream in Washington, DC at Union Market's DC Scoop competition.
Nineteen ice cream businesses competed to win the votes of over 7,500 ice cream fans on the hot summer day.

We served four flavors in our tents, and our mobile ice cream volunteers gave two additional flavors to the patient fans in line.
