Chocolate Pretzel Peanut Butter Swirl

This is a great celebration flavor!

Chocolate covered pretzels and a peanut butter swirl in vanilla ice cream. Perhaps too indulgent?

The peanut butter and pretzels provide the right balance of salty with the sweetness of the chocolate and vanilla ice cream. This is a truly addictive flavor.

  1. Hi Victoria --i loved the ice cream...and came up with a number of flavor suggestions. Actually it would be great to do ice cream or sorbets of those cocktails Janette made last night. I don't really like them but a lot of people like those 'dreamsicles' pops that have that orange/vanilla flavor...and since u did pretzels, how about peanut brittle ice cream--you could have the creamy and the crunchy at the same time....or granola ice cream...or pear ginger....trifle ice cream with a bit of cake/sponge cake and berries...u could also do peaches n cream, for winter--ginger bread ice cream...um how about spicy chocolate--Jacque Torres makes a great spicy hot chocolate--so perhaps you could take inspiration from that..not sure why my id is homo hotel...anyway best of luck Davis

  2. Thanks, Davis!

I've made pear ginger http://icecreamjubilee.blogspot.com/2011/02/first-tasting-party.html. I featured it in one of my first posts!

I love your ideas of peaches and cream and spicy chocolate (which I tried once http://icecreamjubilee.blogspot.com/2011/02/chocolate-and-more.html).

I took your ideas to the next level. Stay tuned for Honey Peach and Chocolate Five Spice. They are among my next four posts!
