Banana Bourbon Caramel ice cream

Banana Bourbon Caramel was the flavor that started it all.
In July 2010, in a Brooklyn Farm, five chefs vied for the "best ice cream" title at the Minnesota State Fair (satellite location).  Coconut Lychee Lime sorbet and Fresh Fig & Cream were worthy competitors, but nothing wowed the crowd like Banana Bourbon Caramel.  Jeff, and EmilyJon and JennaPatrick and Erica, were my creative inspiration while I lived in New York City.  Check out their work -- I guarantee you'll be impressed!
Three years later in Washington, DC, Banana Bourbon Caramel has become one of the most requested flavors in my repertoire.  The strength of the bourbon cuts through the sweetness and the childhood familiarity of the banana flavor.  A dash of cinnamon and base of real vanilla ties it all together.
It tastes like nothing you've tried before, but also like something you always should have been eating.  It is a slam-dunk blue ribbon flavor.
