The Dark 'n' Stormy cocktail is known as as Bermuda's national drink. Made of ginger beer and Goslings black rum, the Dark N Stormy gained popularity through the sailing community up and down the east coast of the US, having been brought home by various sailors who frequented Bermuda.
The Ice Cream Jubilee take on this cocktail combines Goslings black rum, ginger ice cream, and pieces of candied ginger. If my apartment had a cocktail flavor of the weekend, this certainly was it!
