The ice cream turned out splendidly. It was just as beautiful, and the honey made the ice cream explode with flavor. I'm looking forward to making it again. Next time, I'll strain out the blossoms.

Honey Lemon Lavender
After making many batches of ice cream, I was out of sugar. I had read about honey flavored ice cream, but had never tried it before. I've always loved lavender, in part because I'm so moved by color. Even before I made the ice cream I was struck by the yellow lemon zest and purple blossoms.
The ice cream turned out splendidly. It was just as beautiful, and the honey made the ice cream explode with flavor. I'm looking forward to making it again. Next time, I'll strain out the blossoms.
